Prof. Veronika Eyring is awarded the Leibniz Prize 2021 (https://www.dfg.de/en/funded_projects/prizewinners/leibniz_prize/index.html) of the German Research Foundation (DFG). She is honoured in recognition of her achievements in the field of climate modelling. Those models are an important basis for understanding and projecting climate change.
